As a Compliance and Risk Officer at Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union, I apply my analytical, regulatory, and audit skills to ensure the credit union's compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices. I hold three certifications from the Credit Union National Association: Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE), Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS), and Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA). I have over five years of experience in the financial services industry, including working as a Manager of Regulatory Advocacy at League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates, and as a FinTech Examiner at Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Economics at Georgia Southern University, where I am learning how to apply economic theory and methods to real-world problems and policy issues. I am passionate about promoting financial inclusion, innovation, and education, and I strive to uphold the values and mission of the credit union movement.
