Working with the Sales Director to provide full pricing to contractors and clients direct for commercial and multi-residential wellness facilities including pools, spas, saunas, steam rooms and more

Manage a project through from point of sale to hand over on commercial/multi residential projects.Collaborate with the rest of the design team including Architects, Interior Designers and Structural Engineers whilst working to the brief and notifying the client’s team of any cost implications. Develop relationships with the client’s team, main contractor, design team and subcontractors to ensure a good, productive working environment and incentivising repeat business.Working with the Assistant Contracts Manager, manage the day to day work on site through either office support or on site presence. Produce Health and Safety documentation and ensure all contractor procedures are followed.Work within the confines of the contract (usually JCT) and ensure all works are compliant, completed on time and within budget. Ensure quality control procedures are carried out on workmanship at all levels to ensure the highest standards are maintained.Provide design support for clients and architects to enable the construction of swimming pools taking into consideration the client’s requirements and brief. Develop performance specifications, specify plant and equipment and develop the design to overcome ambitious design criteria and enable the successful construction of bespoke and unique swimming pools.Tender for jobs based on the full design or conceptual architectural sketches.ISPE qualified

My time at Fasset allowed me to better develop my project management skills. Responsible for the customer liaison, planning and delivery of commercial space fit out. With projects ranging from data centres to office refurbishments, I fortunate enough to work on a variety of different schemes. Projects typically valued from minor works at £5k-£15k to major works £15k-£500k. With multiple projects of different sizes all running together, it is important to have a high level of organisation and communication skills to ensure nothing is forgotten.Primary provider of CAD support to the business and its 7 Science and technology parks producing space layout plans, engineering drawings and lease drawings. I was able to bring a higher level of CAD services with the inclusion of 3D space rendering through the use of Revit. This proved to be a valuable tool in helping the client understand the intentions of the business.

I worked in this role role for 2 years but for West Sussex County Council since June 2011. During this time, in depth experience was gained delivering highway safety improvements in areas such as project management, design principles, time management and budget control. As well as carrying out my day to day task I also undertook day release working towards an HNC in Construction and the Built Environment which meant I had to manage my time effectively.

Employed as a full time member of staff with college day release once a week, this role gave me the ability to learn from many different parts of the organisation. I found I was able to adapt well to the different working styles of each team I was with. I gained valuable experience in the likes of; detailed design work (using AutoCAD), teamwork skills, administrative skills and communication skills.

I worked for Tesco for the 3 years, enabling me to support myself financially while focusing on my studies. During that time, I was able to gain experience working in various departments including stock control, cash office, tills and stock replenishment.
