I Retired in 2020 after 38 years in the banking industry leading teams at JPMorgan Chase in commercial banking and the Private Bank at JPMorgan. My journey allowed me to take on many community leadership roles in both Tulsa and Oklahoma City as the Oklahoma Market President and, in my last 3 years as a Vice Chairman of the firm. I was fortunate to serve on many not-for-profit boards and had the privilege of chairing several including The Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, Foundation for Tulsa Schools, Red Cross, Operation Aware, Oklahoma Business and Education Coalition, Tulsa Stadium Trust, and Tulsa and Rogers County Port of Catoosa, The Governor’s International Team, University of Tulsa Friends of Finance, and the Community Investment branch of the Tulsa Area United Way. Other board involvement included United Way of Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa YMCA, Philbrook Art Museum, Tulsa Branch of the National MS Society, and The Tulsa Community College Foundation.More recently I have joined the Firm of Schnake Turnbo Frank as an associate working with their clients as an executive coach. This effort focuses on teaching many skills needed to be a successful leader including how to build a winning culture. While our approach is pragmatic and results oriented many of the sessions focus on soft skills designed to build teamwork, reduce turnover, reward success, create equality and fairness, and ultimately allow the individual to grow in their role as a leader.
