Responsibilities: •Prepare varied contamination assessments for site redevelopment due diligence and re-zoning purposes for commercial clients throughout VIC, QLD, SA and WA. Preliminary and detailed site assessments carried out on various sites, including commercial and residential properties, service stations and landfills•Responsibility for business development and growing the Land Quality practice in Melbourne including proposal development, tender responses and pricing, as well as client account management

•Preparing, conducting and leading field environmental compliance audits in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 •Monitoring multiple projects across CSG fields, overseeing consultant/contractor teams and providing timely and accurate environmental advice to construction and site crews (e.g. waste management, weed management, soil suitability, rehabilitation standards, etc.)•Investigation of environmental incidents or complaints, designing remediation solutions, and ensuring continuous improvement and implementation of agreed action plans•Preparing, ground truthing, and implementing site specific Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) •Developing, reviewing, implementing and monitoring of environmental management plans (EMP), work packs, procedures, environmental and safety risk assessments and associated project documents •Preparing and conducting environmental and safety site audits•Conducting water and soil sampling, and vehicle/plant weed hygiene inspections throughout works as required •Developing and delivering environmental awareness training programs, including inductions, to site personnel •Management of field monitoring programs including: drilling fluid characterisation, water quality monitoring and soil quality monitoring

United Kingdom

•Specialising in ground investigation, together with the assessment and remediation of brownfield sites across the UK. Particular areas of experience include intrusive site investigation using a wide range of drilling techniques (hard rock and soils) and remediation of sites contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons•Phase I environmental audits, desktop studies, Phase II intrusive investigations, Phase III ‘dig and dump’ remediation. Experience with ‘pump and treat’ remediation systems, passive remediation systems and the long term monitoring of potentially contaminated sites•Drilling of boreholes and the excavation of trail pits at current and former petrol station sites and fuel storage terminals along with a range of other industrial and commercial sites. Experience of drilling boreholes using window sampler rigs, shell and auger rigs and rotary drilling rigs operating with both air and water flush and logging arising’s to BS 5930, as well as noting indicators of contamination•Extensive sampling experience, including both soil and water for contamination testing. Experience of slug and pump testing and remediation through monitored natural attenuation (MNA)
