Directed all technical aspects of the mindSHIFT Managed Services solution which included 50,000+ workstations, 5000 servers, and 300 data circuits in 20 states. Responsible for both tactical and strategic guidance to a staff inclusive of network, software, security and hardware engineers, project managers, and software developers (approx. 50 people). Planned, justified, and managed an annual department budget of $6MM+. Established corporate relationships with Dell, HP, Microsoft, Equinix, AT&T, MCI and a number of VARs. Responsible for the creation and management of a $10MM network infrastructure. Responsible for evaluating new products and services to be incorporated into the mindSHIFT solution as well as insuring proper technical support given to current and prospective customers. Managed the team of project managers responsible for coordinating customer implementations as well as a Customer Care Center and a Network Operations Center. Briefed the industry, customers, venture firms, and board members on the solution and the company. Assisted in the acquisition of 4 companies, totaling $10MM in value, and the integration of 75 employees, 5000 desktops, and 200 servers.
