Currently on Casual Contract with @YYJ. In an industry that is recalibrating and reinventing itself the timing was right to return to help. At YYJ, as Manager Integrated Operations Centre, I enjoyed delivering on a number of goals and projects that contributed to YYJ resiliency during a most turbulent period (COVID) of the industry. During this time, I help create an Integrated Operations Centre model, participated in the transition to a CUTE environment, implemented a number of innovative programs including supporting the CTA (YYJ received an award winning recognition). I also helped with a team to lead an Airport COVID Business Resumption project which resulted in YYJ receiving ACI Airport Health Accreditation and later the first ever ASQ Best Airport Hygiene award for 2020. Successful onboarding new air carriers and ground handlers. YYJ was also recognized top North American Airport for in class. Prior leaving I was also offered the acting Director of Security and Terminal Operations role on a temporary basis. I am always looking for opportunities to enhance policies, SOP's and implementing creative, innovative, and sustainable best practices to meet and exceed regulatory and industry requirements for a safe, secure and service centric airport.
