Hello, I am David Partlow. I am currently seeking a job as a Project Engineer forcommercial construction companies within the area. I am hoping to find a career in the field thatwill last a lifetime, as loyalty is a trait I value in the professional workplace. I think that I would bea great fit for your company and here are a few reasons why.After Graduating from Yukon High School in 2010 I chose to go to a vocational college tofarther my education. I ended up at Canadian Valley Technology Center where I chose to take theconstruction trades program. While I was there, I competed in the Skillz USA framing competitionswhere I won first place at the state level and eighth place at the national level. After my timeThere I went to Oklahoma State University to study construction management and have sincetransferred to University of North Texas where I finished out my degree in May of 2020.During the eight years that I have been out of high school I have worked on a framingcrew, worked as a commercial carpenter, worked as a trim carpenter, and as of the last two yearsI have owned my own business doing construction. I have a lot of experience and knowledge inthe industry. Just as well, I have a lot of experience in managing things and being able to makedecisions.My current Education in Construction Engineering not only gives me knowledge inconstruction but also knowledge in business. I have the degree that hasallowed me to know how the industry works, and how to manage and make decisions in it as well.That and my experience in work over my life makes me believe that I will be a great fit for ProjectEngineer or Project Manager and am looking forward to having the opportunity.
