Development of internal training process for Accident Investigation and Claims Defensibility. Guidance to all sites regarding potential liabilities in relation to injuries sustained by employees and third parties.Collation of all pertinent documents to assess liability position enabling accurate handling of claims made against the business. Working both individually and part of a nationwide team. Employed specifically to manage claims for all classes of business for Alfred McAlpine PLC and subsidiary companies. Including approval of Insurers recommendations to settle and challenge where appropriate their rationale for settlement where liability was to be conceded too readily.I was responsible for managing and report to the Insured in relation to all property claims across their portfolio of sites. My involvement consisted of validating proposals for settlement and ensuring optimum settlements for the Insured. Site visits for complex investigations and for divisional presentations across the group and to National Directors.
