This is for a 500 node network at the company headquarters in Norcross, GA and includes a dual Catalyst 6500 core and Catalyst 4500, Catalyst 3750 and Catalyst 2950 series switches. • Responsible for all aspects of a 2000 sq. ft. datacenter including power requirements, cooling requirements, rack and cabinet requirements, network cabling requirements and space management.• Set up monitoring for all Windows servers, Unix Servers and network equipment utilizing SNMP and WMI. Monitoring is performed by a combination of What’s Up Professional and Solarwinds Engineer Edition Toolset. Set up alerts to be sent via email and SMS.• Manage all aspects of Local and Wide Area Networking for the entire company. This includes Data Circuits, Security, VPN and Local Switching.• Responsible for the core infrastructure for a world wide network, including offices in Atlanta, Montreal, Panama, Israel, California, Dallas and Illinois.• Responsible for integrating newly acquired companies into the WaCA network utilizing the most cost effective and reliable methods available.• Set up redundant web hosting site in downtown Atlanta to provide business continuity for all WaCA web sites. • Re-located entire 3000 sq. ft. datacenter from Duluth, GA to Armonk, NY when company closed Duluth offices. Gathered requirements and worked with co-location facility to move the datacenter. This included the actual physical move as well as routing and ip addressing changes.• Managed all aspects of Local and Wide Area Networking for the entire company. Handle all networking functions including security on both Checkpoint Firewalls and Cisco PIX firewalls.• Responsible for integrating all newly acquired companies into the ProAct network. This includes security review, IP addressing, configuration standardization of all Cisco devices and IOS upgrade of all Cisco devices.• Responsible for making all firewall changes for the entire organization on both Firewall-1 and Cisco Pix devices. Created a change control log to ensure that all changes made were thoroughly documented.• Designed a switched Ethernet network for large data center, utilizing Cisco 6500 switches with MSFC routing and Cisco 3500 and 2900 series switches. Planned and implemented multi-VLAN design and routing.• Managed a project to set up a fully redundant POP site in downtown Atlanta, working with vendor to acquire space and IP Addressing requirements.

• Implemented Checkpoint Firewalls to protect the assets of the American Cancer Society • Designed and implemented a switched Ethernet network, utilizing Cisco switches on a fiber backbone, at the National Home Office in Atlanta. This new network replaced an existing Token Ring Type 1 installation. Managed cabling vendors, purchased hardware and managed conversion of over 600 PC clients from Token Ring to Ethernet. Received a commendation and gift certificate from the CEO for bringing the project in on time and within budget.• Designed and setup a new datacenter for the American Cancer Society call center in Austin, TX. Involved in the design from the beginning and ordered, configured and installed all the equipment for the new data center including servers, switches, routers and firewalls.• Designed an IP Addressing scheme for the entire American Cancer Society to utilize in 1,500 nationwide offices, integrating a 10-net design with existing class C addresses.• Designed and deployed a nationwide Frame Relay network using Cisco routers and MCI Worldcom's Frame Relay network. This nationwide network now includes over 200 sites. Responsible for traffic analysis and troubleshooting on all existing WAN sites. Also, assisted in the setup of a Network Operations Center to help in monitoring the WAN for 24x7 coverage.• Responsible for consulting with the division offices on all aspects of the local LAN environments from designing their networks to Windows NT, Novell and application issues.• Designed and installed a fully redundant network, utilizing Cisco switches and routers, for the ACS Call Centers located in Austin. These centers handle all calls that are placed to the ACS regarding donations and cancer inquiries.• Re-engineered the Austin Product Center network to provide a test environment for product production. This involved setting up VLANs and using a router to simulate disparate networks.
