Reviews all claims, lawsuits and tenders of defense assigned to various adjusters for coverage issues. Corresponds directly with underwriting carriers in making coverage recommendations (including referrals to coverage counsel) and obtain the proper authorizations (when applicable) to issue the appropriate coverage letter. Analyze and edits all coverage disclaimer letters before they are issued. Distributes coverage reports twice a week to all adjusters and provide recommendations on any outstanding coverage issues. In addition, a master coverage report is provided to management with a brief analysis of any outstanding issues.
