I’m a New-build Vessel Master / Vessel Manager for Purus. As part of the new build team, I am responsible for overseeing the build process and comissioning of our new hybrid vessels and then delivering a finished, ready to work product to our operations team. As a Vessel Manager, I ensure the crews receive the support they need to ensure the client receives a safe, productive, reliable and compliant vessel. Previously a freelance CTV master for 11 yrs, I have operated on 32 offshore wind farms in German, Danish, Dutch, Belgian and U.K. waters. I have experience using FPP, CPP, IPS, azipod and jet propulsion systems on Strategic, Damen, Incat Crowther, Diverse, and Piriou made vessels. During my time as master for HST, I was chosen to train full crews, on multiple occasions, in all day to day wind farm and vessel operations in Taiwan. Prior to becoming a CTV master, I was an independent lifeboat coxswain for Hornsea Inshore Rescue (Royal Humane Society awarded) for over 5 years as well as a Community First Responder for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
