Transformed a whiteboard conceptual model into a full system using Ruby on Rails, ReactJs, MySQL, AWS Lambda, and CloudFront. Receiving over 650k reservations across 9 food banks.Created the backend management system for creating reservation opportunities in response to COVID-19 to support increased pre-registration needs. Coded within an existing stack of PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap and enabled users to create and publish over 1.3M reservation opportunities, ensuring scalable and efficient operations.Provided technical oversight during Feeding America’s acquisition of FreshTrak systems, ensuring a smooth transition and integration. Assisted with contract evaluation, data continuity, and system migration, maintaining uninterrupted services for MOFC and other food banks.

Developed an ERP module to streamline scheduled deliveries using SQL Server, a PHP web app, and ensuring integration with the Macola ERP system. In use since 2016, the system facilitates the distribution of over $30 million in food annually.Provided technical support for the large-scale roll-out of the PantryTrak system, ensuring seamless integration with business operations. Managed data imports, developed ad hoc and turnkey analytics, and created system rollout tools. Since 2012, the system has been adopted at over 3.5k locations across 12 states, processing over 49.5M transactions.

Fulfill all requirements of the hunger study and coordinate data collection at over seventy pantries, and with three hundred client interviews throughout the study.Build the capacity of the organization to respond to hunger through research for strategic planning, and use focused evaluations.

Collaborated with the Association and the George Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs to conduct an evaluation of the Summer Weekend Meals Program. Recruited five Summer Weekend Meals Program Sponsors and built working relationships to coordinate for survey data collection, and site visits to collect data through interviews with participants and their parents. Processed survey data into a spreadsheet database, transcribed participant interviews, and transcribed and analyzed parent interviews.

I also prepared chemical demonstrations, laboratory materials, and safety information for the twenty-students I supervised in my section of the laboratory. Additionally, I conducted the experimental procedure prior to lab and recommended solutions and changes in procedure based on results.

I worked on an Organic and Fair Trade Coffee farm. For two months I became a part of a rural low-income Peruvian family, working six days a week in exchange for rustic room and board. Through my experiences in Sicchezpampa I developed a real empathy for the community, and small coffee producers throughout the world.
