I was employed in the quality control department of the export business unit, which mainly worked as a supplier of WFP (World Food Programme), the world's largest humanitarian organization. My company was involved in the production of cereal-soy based fortified flour blends for baby nutrition ( ranging between 6 months of age and 2 years old).My main duties were:- documentation management related to the food production;- Laboratory analysis on 1) grains and soybeans delivered (sieving samples, mycotoxins detection and count, macro-nutrients profiling via NIRS system); 2) Final product nurtional profile (Kjeldahl method, Soxhlet method, Thermal Balance, Ashes, NIRS, Bostwick viscosity test, mycotoxins detection and count via fast-kits);- preparation of laboratory, cleaning in place and sampling procedure documents- sampling of delivered raw materials, semi-processed products and final products- translation of documentation from English to Italian- Management of the HACCP system- translator English/Italian between colleagues and WFP inspecting officers
