Helping to coordinate the industry's input on the legislative consultation process in Jersey and overseas. My areas of focus were corporate, finance and banking law. I led a number of industry working groups, driving changes to the legal and regulatory framework in Jersey, to ensure that our Island is consistently recognised as the leading international finance centre in its chosen markets. Highlights include work on changes to Jersey's electronic communications law, prospectus rules, company merger and dissolution rules and the introduction of limited liability companies. Also led on industry engagement with developments in key markets, such as changes to the taxation of UK real estate held by non-UK residents.

As associate director, I led a team providing clients with directorship, corporate administration, secretarial, bookkeeping and accounting services for corporate and institutionally owned multi-jurisdictional structures.

After training at Lovells LLP in London, I moved to the Paris International Debt Capital Markets team of Hogan Lovells on qualification as a Solicitor. Working my way up to the position of Senior Associate, I advised on a broad range of debt capital markets, structured finance and derivatives transactions, with a particular focus on cross-border securitisations.In 2010, I passed the examinations to be admitted as a French qualified avocat with the Paris bar. During 2013 I was seconded to the securitisation legal team of Credit Agricole CIB, where I helped to structure a number of innovative ABS transactions for French corporates.
