This included the generation of project level case-studies for use in a qualitative cross-case analysis, and identifying lessons learnt related to programmatic management of agricultural research for development to inform future ACIAR investments.• Timor-Leste Partnership to Strengthen Village Development and Municipal Administration (PARTISIPA) design: PARTISIPA is a ten-year AUD80 million investment (2021-2031) to assist the Government of Timor-Leste to improve the access and quality of basic infrastructure and services. Supported the design team to provide a suite of options aimed at safeguarding Timor-Leste’s natural environment. The PNDS menu options included carbon-farming to improve livelihoods and promote the revegetation of land around rural water supply systems, slope stabilisation of rural road corridors and installation of climate resilient rural flood defences. The PNDS also included pathways to power small-scale water sanitation units through the installation of renewable energy infrastructure. Show less
