As Manager Environment I manage the SA Environment team, focussing mainly on site contamination investigations. We have considerable expertise in undertaking Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations; remediation planning and implementation for soil and groundwater contamination; regular groundwater monitoring programmes; and acid sulphate soil assessment. We also offer services in environmental impact assessment, planning and approvals advice, waste management and hydrogeological modelling.As Manager Mining Infrastructure I manage relationships with key clients in the mining and resources sector to deliver engineering solutions for non-process infrastructure, including rail (heavy haul, turning and passing loops, permanent way design), roads (haul roads, intersections, highway realignments, local and internal roadways), water (pipelines, pump stations, hydrogeological and hydrological studies, desalination plants), civil (structural engineering for buildings, foundations, gantries and other structures, general site layouts, earthworks design, services design).

Bhp Billiton Olympic Dam Eis Team

I was a member of the Environmental Impact Assessment team for the Olympic Dam Expansion.Our team produced one of the largest EIS documents produced, and the largest document printed in SA. I provided input into sections on land use, terrestrial ecology, EPBC referrals, alignment with strategic policy and legislation, site selection for a coastal desalination plant, visual amenity, and social impacts.
