About David Probert

I am a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Highway Engineers. I hold significant experience and knowledge in Highways, Active Travel and Public Realm design and engineering in Wales and England, working in both the private and public sector.I have developed a wide range of schemes through the project lifecycle, assembling multi-disciplinary teams, as well as assembling and developing the Highways, Active Travel and Public Realm Team for Burroughs.Currently, I am a member of the Project Oversight Team compiled by the Roads Association (PIARC) for a study of Interurban Cycling Infrastructure, the PIARC Special Project for 2023, providing technical expertise as one of two UK representatives.

Working independently and collaboratively to successfully deliver schemes for various clients under the City of Cardiff Council umbrella, including Neighborhood Renewal, Cycling and Traffic Management. Since commencing the role I have successfully attained IOSH as well as obtaining an applicable CSCS card.
