Customer Service Assistant
Current- Provide support and information to a variety of customers and retailers on a range of outdoor products such as hiking boots, climbing and camping equipment.- Respond to emails and phone calls with the ability to trouble shoot quickly for satisfactory resolutions.- Process online, phone, email and retailer orders across various platforms such as Shopify, PayPal, DPD and Apprise.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in different parts of the business such as the Director, Sales Representatives and Warehouse Managers and Operatives with queries ranging from stock availability, inbound freight and outbound deliveries.- Daily use of Excel which includes creating pivot tables, using sums, VLOOKUP function and import and exports to create orders, display order confirmations, edit forecasts and research data.- Maintain product knowledge through regular training and own initiative by using and researching of products in and outside of work.- Ensure tasks are completed within the correct timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction.- Adapt to different types of customers, ensuring they feel well listened to. Take the appropriate actions and respect each individual on a case-by-case basis.- Support colleagues with queries and notify them of any issues which may affect them.- Send notifications of availability of stock to retailers to increase uptake of forward and back orders ensuring sales targets are improved.
