The majority of this work will centre around development and implementation of Edmonton’s Strategy for Community Mental Health (SCMH) in partnership with the City of Edmonton and United Way of the Alberta Capital Region, especially the establishment of the lived experience-led governance structure at its centre. Additionally, my role will oversee and support CMHA-ER staff involved in managing Living Hope Suicide Prevention Plan development and implementation, administration of Wellness Network funding on behalf of AHS, and alignment with internal strategy and governance inputs, including updates to CMHA-ER’s Strategic Plan, establishment of peer and family experience advisory and governance structures, and engagement with the CMHA-ER Board’s Strategy Committee.
