I am the owner of Stone Aspen, LLC, a Custom Home Building Company based in Douglas County, Colorado. In the last 35 years, we have built over 400 signature homes. One of our passions is building homes which allow folks to age-in-place. However, half of our homes are built for growing families. We are proponents of finding a lot first, and then designing a home that integrates with the lot. We minimize our impact on the environment. We are proponents of Sarah Susanka's design philosophy as presented in "The Not So Big House"​. Our preferences are Craftsman, Mountain Rustic, and Traditional Architecture, but have successfully built other styles. . I live in Castle Rock, Colorado with my lovely bride of 43 years. We have been blessed with two great sons and four awesome grandchildren.
