• Partnering with key Financial Services customers (including Westpac, CBA and ANZ) to develop tailored Finance Transformation programs in order to assist these customers in achieving their strategic goals - creating true strategic partnerships• Establishing and developing the Oracle/Westpac partnership for the Finance Transformation program to help develop the current Finance roadmap• Successfully lead a cross line of business team of up to 10 resources for 3 months at Westpac to prove the efficacy of the solution.• Increased Cloud Subscription income for Oracle, by developing tailored and trusted cloud technology solutions for a Financial Services Organisation, including the adoption of Oracle SAAS to meet specific regulatory needs.

• Designed and established the Business Architecture and Solutions function in Finance that ensures strategic solutions are delivered into Finance. This has delivered permanent efficiency benefits and increased control to Finance every year from 2010 onwards.• Designed and established the cross domain Finance, Risk, Analytics, Treasury and Technology function to maximize the strategic benefits of regulatory project spend regarding data and technology.• Accountable for leading a team of project professionals, the Finance components of the Institutional Bank portfolio of projects and business owner of the Finance Systems Strategy.• Led the team that replaced the MIDAS GL’s across Asia, New York and London with the multi-currency, enterprise GL. (Oracle)• Established the information management function within Finance as part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiative. The Finance Domain is the stand out domain in terms of its data management practices.

• Instrumental in the initial conception and design to deliver the integration in 12 months. • A key member of the leadership team • Devised and ran the design forum and played a key role in ensuring the complex design made sense and was deliverable.• In parallel with the SBG integration I led the initiative to refresh the Finance Systems Strategy, working with IBM and Accenture.

• Short term secondment to work with Deloitte on the Finance Business Strategy. The outcome of which was the comprehensive Finance Strategy that was endorsed for implementation by the CFO group.

Management of the Finance systems and the month end system processes to ensure that the Finance function can produce all deliverables on time and to the appropriate level of quality. Including:• Financial Control Processes• Statutory Reporting• Regulatory Reporting• Financial Reporting.To achieve the above this included managing a diverse team of 30+ people and responsibility for the Finance technology expense base.
