Responsible for identifying, formulating and implementing innovative strategies aimed at transforming Endeavour Energy to achieve maximum value from our highly skilled staff.• Managing a large team and am responsible for the design, implementation strategy, change management and launch of a new web based scheduling tool (ClickSoftware) in our field based depots, which is one of the largest initiatives seen by the business.• Workshopped the design of SAP to replace Endeavour Energy’s existing ERP/EAP (Ellipse) for both the Asset Management and Works Management streams. Strong influencing skills to alter stakeholder processes to be inline with industry best practice and minimise costly customisations.• Conduct improvement workshops with various stakeholders in the business to identify projects that will streamline and optimise processes. Lead the process optimisation development to minimum viable product and continuous improvement phases. • Influence various stakeholders in the business, including Senior Leaders, to build support and realise the transformation vision. Create and implement business plans, budgets and performance management targets. • Advanced analytics and programming to automate KPI dashboard reporting for company wide metrics using statistical analytics software (Knime) and visualisation BI tools (Tableau & Power BI) to verify transformation initiatives.

Responsible for managing depots and over 70 staff in the Hills region who build and maintain the electricity network, and respond to network faults and incidents. Areas include Parramatta CBD, The Hills Shire, Blacktown and Kings Park.• Evaluated maintenance work pipeline meets company objectives.• Manage overall operations and resources to ensure are at lowest cost while maintaining high safety and current reliability standards. • Responded to major and minor safety incidents and rapidly evaluated and closed gaps in working practices both within the region and company wide.• Develop, test and implement productivity initiatives to assist keeping downward pressure on operating cost.• Restructured support roles to be in line with the digitalisation and productivity strategy.

Endeavour Energy owns and operates the electricity network in Sydney’s Greater West, Blue Mountains and South Coast. Network Mains is responsible for writing the standards, specifications and maintenance practices used to build and maintain the network. • Acted as Section Manager for six months which involved setting staff targets and conducting performance management. • Established an industry first design philosophy for transmission cable bonding that allows designs to be created without conducting a complex transient study. This reduced the time taken to create designs and contribute to a reduction in project costs. Used PSCAD to conduct the transient study under various fault conditions.• Experienced in using cable rating software CYMCAP to evaluate the rating impact for installation requirements, such as installing cables in close proximity to each other & under different soil conditions (thermal resistivity). Authored the amendment of the Distribution Cable Ratings Network Standard and updating the Company Policy for managing various equipment ratings on the network, including fault, voltage and current ratings. • Implemented company level processes, including requesting dispensation from company engineering documents using a risk based approach via an electronic form and the product approval framework used to assess applications made by suppliers to provide products and materials intended to be installed on the network by ASP3s.• Developed Asset Class Reports for mains related assets to be inline with ISO 55000 which included fleet snapshot analytics, failure trends and mitigation strategies, previous maintenance strategies, heath indices, design and construction requirements, and minimum data collection requirements.

Developed the PayPronto iOS application to optimise the ordering process within restaurants, bars and cafes. • Managed the entire application development lifecycle including idea concept, feature generation, development and implementation.• Created and managed the server code (PHP + SQL) and database to handle user and business application traffic. • Developed and tested user and business iOS applications. • Provided custom software development to interface the applications with proprietary hardware, such as wireless receipt printers and cash draws.• Created web based sales reporting tools for businesses.• Maintained all facets of the application through technical support, billing, new feature generation and process optimisation.

System Control operates and provides access to the electricity network for the Sydney region. • Coordinated the management of high company risk incidents, including a switchgear explosion and asbestos management, by organising incident communication with the management team, conducting updating meetings and both creating and resolving outstanding actions to close the incident as soon as practically possible. • Created a power system model (PSS/E) of the network in the Hunter Region for Network Operators to prepare for emergency situations, such as a black start of the NSW electricity grid. The model was created to replicate the existing Data Network Management System (DNMS/SCADA) to provide a realistic simulation. Provided technical support and training to staff.• Coordinated the formation of the weekly control room outage report for senior leaders that included outage details, cause and reliability impacts (SAIDI and SAIFI).

Part of the Demand Management team creating innovative projects aimed at reducing the electrical load on constrained areas of the network.• Manufactured and conducted commissioning testing of custom SMS controlled RTUs designed to control the energy consumption of customer’s air conditioners via SMS commands, in accordance with AS 4755. • Developed a 2-way SMS broadcast program to dispatch the air conditioner controllers, provide SMS notifications to customers and allows customers to restore the air conditioner to 100% power by replying to the SMS. 
• Evaluated geographical areas where the air conditioner demand management trial would have the greatest impact on reducing load on the network. The recommendations formed the first trial within Ausgrid’s network area.• Contributed to the Smart Grid Smart City report by assessing the impacts of a number of grid connected wind turbines, battery storage and gas generators on the network and customers. • Conducted screening tests on projects valued above $5 million to evaluate whether demand management solutions could delay network investment whilst still meeting the increasing load demand in the area.

Member of the Communications team who are responsible for the design of the communication network used for protection devices installed on the electricity network.• Designed an RTU that could be installed on a critical power cable to monitor the thermal resistivity, moisture content and temperature of the soil remotely and feed into the control room. This could be used to provide a dynamic feeder rating on high load days.• Designed the connectivity of the multiplexed communication network (fibre connected) between protection relays at zone substations. This included the normal and diverse standby paths for both A and B protection schemes.• Experience with multiplexers, RTUs, various protection relays (SEL, SIEMENS, GE) requiring linked communication.
