David was part of a small group of men who desired to impact their community and through those efforts David helped establish the Knoxville Christian Community Foundation in 1997. The foundation merged with the National Christian Foundation in 2001 and changed names to NCF East Tennessee. Those efforts for community impact have also led to business development in the emerging world with a number of other businessmen. Perhaps the most gratifying have been the development of several businesses and initiatives that David has led in Uganda, Africa since 2008. Our team continually conducts field research by follow-up visits with families that have been using a TivaWater filter.
