About David Ramos

I am a Health Educator at BronxWorks working with youth in the South Bronx using evidence based programs to reduce Teen Pregnancy and the risk of HIV and STIs. I also provide the youth with workshops in other health aspects such as mental, physical and emotional health. I am a graduate of New York University, receiving a B.A in Global Public Health and Anthropology. At NYU, I have gained knowledge of several topics of Public Health and its importance of it after dealing with a global pandemic. This reinforced my passion for helping and serving communities that may not have access to specific health options and introduced the idea of working in public health policy and management. Starting in September 2024, I will be attending NYU School of Global Public Health to pursue a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Policy and Management.
