Manage and maintained all systems and network equipment. Responsibilities included keeping inventory on all systems, creating Open Directory/Active Directory user accounts and security groups as needed, and assisting with desktop support as needed.Re-designed, implemented, and maintained the entire network. Built the Active Directory server, and transitioned all accounts and services to Active Directory. Set up a Radius network, allowing for easy management of Wi-Fi and VPN access and services. Assisted with the initial build of the Asterisk/FreePBX server, and then took over managing it upon employment. I handled the server side migration of our mail system from MAC Mail to Rackspace.

Manage and maintain all systems and network equipment. Responsibilities included keeping inventory on all systems, configuring and deploying new employee stations, creating Active Directory user accounts and security groups as needed, creating DHCP reservations within our network, managing and updating E-mail, LTSP, and phone servers, and configuring network equipment to set up VLANs, static routes, and firewall rules.Some of the projects that I have worked on here include building 3 different FreePBX phone servers for additional clients of Support Services Group, building a new e-mail server with Zimbra FOSS edition for testing with, building a new LTSP server with Ubuntu 13.04, configured Enterasys switches and routers for various clients of Level One Technologies.

Provided level two support for client on the off-campus properties around the University of Texas Campus and Southwestern University. Duties included PC support for students that were having trouble connecting to our internet service, which could be wired or wireless, and cable TV support. Other duties included maintaining and installing network equipment (wireless, switches) in new or existing properties.

Provided level one support for all corporate PC users and support for convenience stores. My job duties included, but were not limited to: Maintaining all corporate PCs and peripherals, responding to computer and user problems in a timely manner, providing help desk support to entire company staff, maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting computer and printer problems, performing PC backup according to a designated schedule, install new equipment, testing new products, and providing a last line of contact for technical issues to end-users.
