Buccaneer Computer Systems and Services, Inc. (BCSSI) was bought by Vangent, and then by General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). I continued in the same role and on the same contract until my 2nd year with GDIT when I changed roll to Manager.

Deployed and maintained hundreds of Solaris, AIX, and Red Hat Linux servers in support of microchip manufacturing. Specialized in backup/archive solutions with Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM). Obtained RedHat RHCE certification.

I began my Army experience as an Imagery Analyst. During a time of draw-down, we needed more UNIX systems administrators. I volunteered and began taking classes. This has launched my career in the IT industry.
