Aerial Foreman
Current• Lead and supervise a team of Groundman and Lineman in the installation and maintenance of aerial fiber optic telecommunication systems.• Maintain a safe work environment by conducting regular safety meetings, inspections, and ensuring PPE is used.• Ensure OSHA compliance by following safety regulations and company policies.• Coordinate with Project Managers and Directors on installation and maintenance of aerial projects.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise in the field.• Operate a variety of equipment, such as bucket trucks, digger derricks and cable placing equipment to complete tasks efficiently.• Follow CAD drawings and makereadies to build out new fiber optic systems.• Provide leadership to team members, creating a positive environment with continuous learning.• Keep detailed records of material used, work performed, and changes made in the field.• Input data into excel and take GPS pictures while correcting GO95 infractions and Southern California Edison gigs.OSP Construction Aerial Lineman(June 2022– January 2023) Race Communications, Tehachapi, CA• Stringing cables and fiber optic line to new projects.• Climb poles when work needed to be done in easement.• Set poles, anchors and vaults according to CAD drawings.OSP Construction Aerial Groundman(February 2022 – June 2022) Race Communications, Tehachapi, CA• Dig holes for poles, vaults and anchors.• Set up and prepare the job site with materials needed for the project.• Ensure the vehicles are clean, organized and loaded with all materials for the day.
