Currently, supporting my fourth joint test - Joint Conventional & Nuclear Integration (J-CNI). This joint test is designed to test a new CONOPS focusing on the integration, synchronization, and deconfliction of conventional and nuclear planning options.Provided analytical support to Joint Staff J7 Futures and Concepts Division from August to December 2022. Supported the development of the Joint Warfighting Concept (JWC) v3.0. The JWC is a global concept that describes an operational approach to defending the United States, our allies, and partners in future conflicts. Provided operational analysis support to OSD’s Joint Test and Evaluation program for three joint tests. The joint tests examined a wide range of topics including: - Integration and synchronization of personnel recovery operations and information-related capabilities (RESCUE)- Technology for combining disparate multinational and bilateral networks using data tagging to facilitate collaboration with multinational partners across a range of military operations (JI-DC)- The operational impact of improved access to electronic health records to reduce the time it takes to transport patients to a higher level of care (JI-MTM) Each test involved the development and execution of detailed test plans and presented unique challenges to collect, reduce, and analyze the data. Leveraged tools such as MS Teams for collaboration and remote data collection. Developed techniques to collect data and monitor user performance in near-real-time using Splunk dashboards. Utilized a variety of statistical techniques and tools, including non-parametric tests, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using JMP statistical software. Test results were briefed to study sponsors and JTE leadership and documented in a final report

Retired from the Joint Staff J7 Joint Lessons Learned Division. Senior analyst and product manager for multiple studies on topics including security cooperation, security force assistance, information operations, counter-corruption, and support to multinational operations.Led a study on the challenges faced by the joint force in competing in the information environment. Partnered with the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center to capture lessons learned to enhance the joint force's ability to develop and leverage compelling alternative narratives through the use of social media.Led studies examining strategic implications of US support to French counter-VEO operations in the Sahel; challenges with defense institution building in Africa; operational challenges faced by International Security Assistance Force to counter corruption in Afghanistan; strategic lessons from the last 10 years of war.

Supported the USJFCOM Joint Center for Operational Analysis. Conducted studies and analyses of operational lessons learned and best practices. Developed innovative techniques to collect and analyze data. Briefed study sponsor on progress, findings, and conclusions. Developed framework to identify focus areas for research, interviewed senior staff, and collected supporting data based on Commanders’ areas of concern. Member of Katrina lessons learned team. Captured findings that were presented to senior leadership including the Joint Staff and White House.

Led a team of 30 analysts, scientists, and engineers ensuring that space capabilities were accurately portrayed in Air Force wargames and command post exercises. Directed the design, development, and execution of the Schriever wargame series, a multi-million dollar project involving over 700 participants from across the national security space community. Coordinated with acquisition agencies and research laboratories to incorporate future space capabilities into wargames. Integrated space systems into all service Title 10 wargames, including AF Global Engagement, Army Unified Quest, and Navy Global.Managed the design and development of space decision support and analysis tools. Established priorities and identified data sources to maintain credible representations of space systems. Provided technical guidance to ensure products were in compliance with Air Force modeling and simulation policies, with emphasis on verification, validation, and accreditation processes. Interfaced with the Air Staff and Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation to establish funding streams to sustain current efforts and develop new functionality based on user requirements.

Led a team of 14 military and civilian operations analysts. Served as senior operations research analyst to COMUSAFE. Determined, planned, managed, and directed analytical support for US Air Forces in Europe. Managed warfighting analytic support for US European Command. Responsible for operations analysis support to European Joint Task Force and Joint Force Air Component Commanders. Monitored ongoing studies and analyses and evaluated progress at key milestones. Encouraged the exchange of ideas and maintained a close working relationship with analysts in NATO and US Army in Europe. Worked closely with other members of the Air Force Analytical Community to share concepts and advocate MAJCOM analytic requirements. Designed processes and procedures to ensure effective use of analytical resources.Temporarily assigned (Sep 99 - Jul 00) to the USAFE Studies and Analysis Directorate. Led a team of 6 military and civilian analysts responsible for analytical support for the CSAF-directed Air War over Serbia initial and one-year reports. Coordinated with the Air Force Analytical Community and Major Commands to provide the analytical underpinning of the contributions of aerospace power during Operation ALLIED FORCE. Planned, managed, and directed the collection and archiving of data used to support the reports. Drafted policy addressing the release of analytical products. Briefed senior officials in OSD and the Joint Staff on the collection and release of the data. Designed and developed the website used to distribute the 5,000-page report. Acted as the senior analyst for the assessment of humanitarian assistance provided by Operation SHINING HOPE.
