Responsible for managing Central Systems project works undertaken directly for Mineral Resources (same group of companies) on their mine and infrastructure sites. Current works include the upgrade of mine facilities in the Yilgarn region, including the installation of new modular buildings, a steel framed warehouse and detailed earthworks for roads and carparks. My duties include overseeing planning and schedule preparation, along with managing capex funding for the scope.

Area Project Manager overseeing NPI works on the new $2.6 billion Gudai Darri iron ore mine site for Rio Tinto in the Pilbara region. Primero’s $120 million NPI contract for the Design and Build of the Central and Fixed Plant facilities, encompasses workshops, offices, wash-bays and associated utility services covering water treatment, power, compressed air and fire water systems.Office based for the early stages of the project, my duties included constructability reviews with the in house design team, engaging sub - contractors for site and fabrication scope, procuring materials / equipment for both permanent and temporary works. I was also responsible for developing the construction schedule, preparing project specific procedures and coordinating the Cost Control, Quality and Safety teams to ensure readiness for the multi- disciplined works.Transferring to site and commencing construction in April 2020, the first task was to establish our site facilitate for the 200 staff and crew. The civil works followed with buried services and over 20kms of HDPE pipework for water services, along with the detailed earthworks for 40 independent structures across the two sites, requiring 8000m3 of concrete and 300 tons of reinforcement. I was responsible for coordinating the site team to execute the works in line with the construction schedule, which included managing the office based design and procurement teams to achieve the critical target dates. My duties also entailed overseeing the cost control team for commercial and progress reporting, which included the submission of valuations and claims to Worley’s the project EPCM and client’s representative.

Planning and organising the shutdown works on Process Train 1 (TAR01) to be implemented in October 2019. AGC’s scope is to replace the 20mtr tall exhaust stack on top of the Waste Heat Recovery Unit along with other associated modification scopes including the turning vein and damper repairs. AGC will fabricate the new stack and provide all resources necessary to implement the multi -disciplined installation works including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, insulation, painting and access activities valued at over $20million.Commenced with AGC as a Project Manager on the Karratha Gas plant life extension maintenance contract, leading teams through the life cycle of various maintenance projects including SMP, PIF and general remedial scope on the operating site including the FRAC1 & STAB 2 units , fire pump platform and Jetty structure.

A member of the refinery site project team, managing upgrade schemes on the operational site, overseeing works involving all disciplines from concept through to commissioning , including in house design, estimating, planning, execution and commissioning.

Bp Kwinana/ Alcoa Pinjarra/ Kalgoorlie

I commenced with WBHO as Construction Manager on the LPG expansion project at the BP oil refinery, responsible for leading the civil's site team through the construction phases including earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, tilt panels, access roads, services and building works.My second posting was with the Alcoa Projects team on their Pinjarra mine site, managing the installation of site accommodation, services and access roads in readiness for a tailing dam extension.I was also Project Manager on a new tailings dam for KCGM on their Gidji site at Kalgoorlie.
