He has worked in Federal, State, and Local government; consulting and contracting.He believes that, as engineers, we can improve sustainability from the bottom up (by making improvements to our individual projects) and from top down (by stronger leadership from professional bodies).His interest in sustainability stems from explaining in public the impacts of freeway planning, and is maintained by three grandchildren.
