I was hired as by Extruders as a Territory Salesman to cover Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. After one year in this role I was offered the position of National Sales Manager which I accepted. With my team of three inside sales people and two outside salesmen we increased sales by 25% within my first year in first year in this role.

Argyle Industries Inc. is a full service aluminum company supplying high quality custom and standard shapes, fabricated and finished to customer’s exact requirements. I was originally hired as Argyle’s sole full-time sales representative, and then promoted in 2002 to build and manage a team currently comprised of 2 employees. During my employment either my team or I consistently increased revenues and profitability in alignment with the company strategy of remaining small, agile and lean. Total profits have increased by as much as 50% since I began working at Argyle.Sales Management: “Player-Coach” responsible for training, setting objectives and performance reviews while also managing my own accounts.Direct Sales: Quoted and closed the majority of Argyle’s current customers directly. Other purchasing responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying new suppliers. Vendors selected based upon location, price, lead time and quality. Through successful sourcing and utilization of vendors I have been able to increase profit margins on new and existing business.Inspection: Inspected customer orders prior to shipment for quality and accuracy. Inspection experience includes the use of Brown and Sharp CMM, optical comparator, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges and other instruments typical to inspection. Drafting: Experienced in both CadKey and Autocad.

United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) 1992-1995Hired by UPS in 1992 as a package handler in the unload department then later promoted to supervise 15 employees. Worked in the Bound Brook Facility where tens of thousands of packages were processed daily.Package Handler: Lead my team on volume and provided leadership when needed by moving people to ensure smooth flow of operation. I was selected by management from over 100 employees to present on safety at an annual district meeting.Sort Isle Supervisor: In the sort isle I was responsible for the supervision of up to 15 employees. The function of the sort isle was to sort all incoming packages passing through the Bound Brook, NJ facility to the proper outbound location. As sort isle supervisor I consistently maintained sort accuracy and volume goals.
