When I first started in the banking industry over 25 years ago, it started out as simply a job to make ends meet. I began in financial services as “Kelly Temp” working at first in physical credit card production, and then as a stationery clerk and data entry clerk. Even when I was hired on as permanent, albeit casual, employee in banking, I never would have imagined that serving Canadians within financial services would become both my career and a lifelong passion. What changed over time was a journey of uncovering how powerful a role financial services providers play in the lives of Canadians. As that journey has moved through a variety of roles, I am excited to now be a leader in passing on that passion to others as a people leader within the industry.
