Successfully leveraged the platforms deposit book to PoC using cloud-based machine learning to successfully forecast deposit balances. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Leveraging Westpac's Azure cloud strategy, I successfully prototyped equivalent reporting using Microsoft Power BI and proved it functionally equivalent to existing QlikView reporting use-cases. Carrying out a cost comparison on license costs alone I presented a reporting migration journey to Power BI and the opportunity as a result to save significant annual OPEX costs.

𝐂𝐨-𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐈𝐁'𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦: As part of the departments Leadership Team, I co-authored in 2010 a multi-year roadmap for the Treasury Data Management platform. Built on Microsoft's back-end (SSIS/SQL Server) with a QlikView reporting front-end, the platform models Westpac Group's balance sheet by sourcing complex group wide datasets to model Westpac Groups Balance Sheet. Empowering data-driven decision-making the platform has evolved to facilitate a number of key Westpac Group Treasury functions including Securitisation, Funds Transfer Pricing, and Liquidity Management generating too critical regulator reports for Westpac Group.𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦: Joined the department as a Senior Technical Lead, providing hands-on technical guidance, solution design and coding expertise. Consistent valued contributions led to a promotion to Application Service Manager, leading then a team of fourteen in building discrete platform elements aligned with the evolving roadmap.
