As Owner/Operator of Mailers Computer Services, which he founded in 1996, Mr. Ridgway has established himself as a respected leader in the direct mail and marketing industry. His knowledge and thought leadership about data, lists and mailing techniques are sought by both clients and colleagues alike.

For nearly 40 years, Mr. Ridgway has been a dedicated sportsman, whose passion for shooting has led him to competitions around the nation. He began shooting at the age of 12 at the John Albright Rifle Club where he practiced the NRA small bore four-position discipline. By age 17, David was competing in NRA-sanctioned Regional small-bore matches, and represented High Point High School’s rifle team, shooting year-round, five days a week. David also represented Maryland’s State 4-H team, the Maryland State Rifle & Pistol Association team, the NRA Adult rifle team, and the Greenbelt Gun Club. Mr. Ridgway competed in NRA Regional, National and Sanctioned Championships, NRA Postal Competitions, Daisy Air Gun National Championships, and the U.S. Olympic air rifle tryouts. For over 30 years, he has competed in NRA competitions and in the Amateur Trapshooting Association.

As a vital member of the Berwyn Rod and Gun Club, David served as Treasurer for ten years, and oversaw daily operations for eight years. He implemented a new dues structure to generate additional revenues for the club. He also oversaw construction of the club’s ranges and ensured that the construction loan was paid off 12 months early. Mr. Ridgway has increased interest in the club, as well as improved communication with members and within the community. He increased club membership by nearly 400%, and increased revenue by 500%. Mr. Ridgway recently stepped down from the club management duties, in order to pursue the funding and building of Maryland Firearms Training Academy (“MDFTA”). Under Mr. Ridgway’s leadership, the Berwyn Rod and Gun Club has become the largest contributor of food products and donations to the food pantry, donating in excess of 7,000 items annually.
