I have over twenty years of writing and editing experience, the last eight of which have been as a medical editor in Big Pharma. I have also taught History as an adjunct instructor at Boston area colleges and universities. My most recent book on military history--Wade McClusky and the Battle of Midway--was published by Osprey/Bloomsbury in May 2019. My second book--No Substitute for Victory: Successful American Military Strategies from the Revolutionary War to the Present Day--was published by Carrel Books/Skyhorse Publishing in November 2014. My book on the Combined Chiefs of Staff--Allied Master Strategists: The Combined Chiefs of Staff in World War II--was published by the Naval Institute Press in November 2012 and has won the John Lyman Book Prize in U.S. Naval History presented by the North American Society for Oceanic History.
