I have worked in the banking industry for over 10 years now and have held various roles within TD Bank in both retail and back office positions. Currently, I work in credit cards and unsecured lending where I help remediate compliance issues that arose from internal and external audits. Previously, I worked in fraud analytics/investigations where I’d use a wide array of systems to investigate various avenues of fraud such as identity theft, online, internal, and check fraud. Not only are you able to help the bank’s customer’s, but you are able to take a proactive role and protect the bank as well. Having both reactive and proactive roles allows me to showcase my talents and skill set but also offer advice and recommendations to help protect the bank and its customers. After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, I decided to go back to school and obtain a Corporate M.B.A from Florida International University where I graduated with a 3.86 GPA. I believe education is essential in developing not only yourself but fundamental in developing a new skill set. With an M.B.A., I developed new skills in finance, accounting, and international business that have proved beneficial to becoming more knowledgeable in various fields.When I’m not working, I’m most likely trying to teach myself something related to technology, such as learning new software or coding.
