Moving Between Specialist And Generic Floating Support Teams Across London.

Made contact with rough sleepers on the street and supported them to access services and accommodation.Worked with a client group that had complex needs, drug, alcohol, ASB, mental and physical health issues.Carried out joint street shifts with external specialist agencies.Offered housing advice surgeries at day centres.Worked in Waterloo during the Bullring (Cardboard City) eviction, also worked south of the river around Brixton, Clapham, Camberwell, London Bridge and Elephant and Castle.Worked around Holborn and Covent Garden with a remit of engaging with long term drinking schools as well as the more general rough sleeping population.Worked in the West End with a remit of engaging with the most entrenched rough sleepers.Organised and took part in rough sleeper counts.Liaison and meetings with other outreach teams and external agencies.Admin tasks and record keeping.

Brixton And Various South London Outreach Locations.

Worked at a drop in centre offering advice around drug use, safer injecting, HIV and Hep C, also offered a needle exchange service.Offered the same services o the street through outreach shifts and at day centres and cold weather shelters in South London.Worked on the national Hep C telephone helpline.Carried out admin tasks and record keeping.

Barking

The senior member of staff at an agency that ran three projects, a Community Drugs Team/needle exchange, the Shed Project for young people and a young people's sexual health project.Responsible for planning and implementing service delivery.Negotiated contracts and service level agreements with funders.Represented the charity at senior level.Responsibility for the budget and the building.Responsibility for recruitment.Chaired management committee meetings,Day to day management of the three projects and their staff teams.

Worked in a drop in centre offering advice and support to rough sleepers and other vulnerable people.Worked in the kitchen and clothing store.Did shifts at a small hostel with eight residents, all older male drinkers with a long history of sleeping on the streets.
