Involved in the installation and upgrade of Novell NetWare and Microsoft Windows servers for customers. Wide experience with designing and supporting Novell eDirectory and Microsoft Active Directory. Experience with Novell ZENworks, GroupWise messaging, and BorderManager firewall.At Bruyère Continuing Care acted as the primary architect in designing both the eDirectory and Active Directory environments, and introduced Novell IDM to connect the two directories. Also introduced virtualization (VMWare), and oversaw a major storage (SAN) upgrade.With Micro Focus as a Solution Support Engineer, support customers with their implementation and operation of Micro Focus, NetIQ, and Novell products. 20+ years experience with Linux, flavors include SUSE, RedHat, and Ubuntu.I have a passion for learning new products and technologies and I enjoy writing.Specialties: eDirectory / AD design and operation, OS installation, configuration, and tuning, GroupWise messaging, ZENworks application delivery, and imaging, Identity Management, Virtualization with VMware, and XEN, Storage Management with HP and EMC.
