I have a lifetime of experience and work in my chosen area of work injuries. As a clinical physiotherapist most of this has been with dealing with, and treating, the effects of work injuries. My professional focus at this time of my life is to bring the prevention of work injuries to the forefront of all businesses and all workers. A company or business's best asset is its workforce. Managing the human risk of this workforce requires a totally new mindset and the development of new tools for the owners and managers of businesses to provide them with the confidence and knowledge to improve the efficiency and safety of their workforce.Proactive management of human risk is the key to reducing work injuries.At present I have an ideal position which allows me to live on a semi tropical island and work part time from home most of the time. I develop and maintain the standards of all the functional testing processes for Happy health based in Newcastle. Happy Health is expanding and now have offices in Adelaide, Sydney as well as Singleton and Cesnock in NSW but are expanding nationally.Happy Health is a new company that has the goal of assisting companies to minimise and manage the risks of the workforce by assessing and monitoring the health of the workers and working with the company to put in strategies to manage and coach the workers with any identified problems to maximise their working potential. My role is to ensure that the assessments are well constructed to be valid and reliable and to ensure all the consultants are well trained to perform and report on these assessments.My ongoing company, WorkMoves in conjunction Skillwise (of which WorkMoves has had a long and ongoing relationship) have collaborated to create several important patented processes that will provide all companies with a simple self-controlled system to understand, track and control the main elements of elusive human risks that can plague many company's bottom line. The project is at the point of seeking several companies that would like to showcase this self managed proactive system.
