Writing articles for assorted publications. I wrote business and finance features for the Guardian newspaper, and The Telegraph, and general features for the Daily Express, as well as articles for various business magazines, such as Insider. I also worked as a freelance PR consultant for a green energy company, helping it achieve a lot of exposure in national media.

Deputy editor of the South West’s leading monthly business magazine; involved in all areas of the production cycle from commissioning, feature writing, editing and layout, to liaising with sales. I also wrote, edited and uploaded the daily newsletter. The job involved public speaking and hosting events.

For Chambers Magazine, the leading quarterly journal on the global legal market, read by senior lawyers across the world. The job required intensive research, first-rate connections, and exemplary feature writing skills. I produced many in-depth 2500-word features on a range of issues including the financial crisis, Wall Street fraudsters, and the miners’ compensation scandal.

I worked on the news, financial markets and business sections of Asia’s best-known English-language broadsheet. The role required a good understanding of capital markets and finance, as well as the ability to turn around copy quickly.
