Operations Manager
Current• Responsible for the safety, welfare and productivity of 50 Employees.• Ensure polices, practices and procedures meet all federal, state, licensing and regulatory requirements.• Recommend operating procedures and solutions for all aspects of the solid waste industry, including monitoring and tracking employee productivity.• Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways to improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.• Follow up on all Safety Action Reports.• Verify and approve pay role.• Conduct weekly safety courses.• Improve the existing procedures for outgoing and incoming resources and track inventory.• Prepare and initiate a cost savings plan.• Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, and discipline employees.• Responsible to ensure that all incidents are reported to the correct authorities.• Conduct monthly facility inspections.• Make sure that the site is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of the customers and clients.• Meet and exceed operations labor budget expectations.
