Serving in the Alaska Oil and Gas Industry for over 14 years.My first position on the North Slope of Alaska was driving heavy duty trucks. Through hard work, determination, quick learning and an excellent work ethic gained from my youth as a builder's son and Bering Sea commercial fisherman I have advanced to my current position on the North Slope of Alaska. My current role as Material Coordinator III for three major oil and gas processing plants and the knowledge and skillset I have gained throughout my career qualify me a strong candidate for many positions. In my current role, I work very closely with Maintenance Planners, Operations, Maintenance Technicians, all crafts groups, suppliers, buyers and all engineering disciplines for all material needs for operations and maintenance. I oversee inventories of all commodity types, material plan and forecast, identify proper stocking levels of materials, read and preform material take offs from isometrics and p&ids, attend various project and work scope meetings, expedite urgent materials and provide logistics coordination. I have a strong knowledge base in the software applications required for many positions including SAP, CMMS, Maximo, Pride, and the full Microsoft Office Suite. I have developed a diverse knowledge base of equipment, materials, services, operations and common practice used in oil and gas and construction. Any employer that hires me will be adding a valued asset to their team. I have previous college coursework in Process Technology, Occupational Safety and Health, and general studies which further solidifies me as a strong candidate. I am accountable, I have exceptional organizational skills, I possess an outstanding work ethic and self-drive. I have demonstrated actions which have resulted in personal recognitions, spot awards, cost reductions, limited to no production loss and I am constantly striving for improvement.
