Robust understanding of industry and quality standards for materials used in oil and gas processing from valves and mechanical piping to electrical and instrumentation type commodities. Prepare weekly work order and shopping cart material status reports to determine items at risk of being non-compliant to critical deadlines and coordinate with facility leadership, supply chain, suppliers and manufactures to ensure critical materials meet client driven deadlines. Attend facility tool box and scheduling meetings regularly. Participate in behavioral based safety observations. With a strong understanding of facility operations, oil and gas processing, administrative operating procedures, Maximo, SAP, SRM, Backbone and materials I provide fast, accurate and above average materials coordination to the facilities I support. Duties included; loading and unloading various size cargo trucks with a variety of oilfield materials from tubulars to pallet size goods, snow removal, gravel remediation work, laydown yard construction, yard inventory counts and maintenance, identification, receipt and inspection of all incoming materials, equipment inspections and occasional office type tasks. I successfully developed and initiated a mentorship program for transitioning existing employees with no experience operating heavy equipment and today some of the operators that went through my program are still running heavy equipment on the North Slope.
