As the VP - Power Generation, I'm proud to lead my team in all areas of El Paso Electric's (EPE’s) power generation division, including engineering, asset management, power plant operation and maintenance, outage management, and generation construction projects. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and am a proud graduate of Irvin High School. After high school I went on to serve in the United States Navy as a Boiler Technician during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I hold an MBA with a concentration in Finance and a Bacherlor’s in Business Management, both from the University of Texas El Paso. I am a certified project management professional and recently joined the board of directors for RMEL, a not-for-profit energy trade association dedicated to education, training, professional development, and networking for electric energy professionals. I've been with El Paso Electric 19-years in various capacities, most recently as the Sr. Director of Support Services and SCM where I led EPE's facility services and project management, fleet services, materials management, procurement contracts, and supplier diversity and investment recovery teams.
