Effectively managed Branch operations with responsibility for coordinating the hiring and maintenance of 480 rental assets including Prime Movers, Tautliners, Tipping Trailers, Road Train Trailers and B-Doubles. Successfully drove client acquisition and retention, recruited and led a high performance team and introduced process improvements to achieve Branch objectives.Key Achievements:• Promoted from Operations Manager to Branch Manager, within 4 months of commencement • Consistently achieved 80-90% fleet utilisation • Employed and trained 2 x Fleet Controllers, an Accounts Payable Clerk, Truck Detailers and a Workshop Manager over a 6 month period, in replacement of the existing staff • Initiated and executed a complete makeover and improvement of the vehicle fleet • Applied several strategies to successfully win back clients who had moved to alternative suppliers

I established Complete Logistics upon purchasing a Hino Tilt Tray, which was contracted under Select Tilt Tray at Kirrawee. I drove the truck myself, predominantly picking up and delivering access equipment to and from building sites across the Sydney Metropolitan area. After 12 months of operating the business, I was approached by an interested party to sell the truck and the business, at which point, I made the decision to proceed with the sale and return to a management role.

Successfully operated a leading transport and bond services organisation, servicing a diverse client base and offering a range of services including container storage and warehousing, FCL cartage, pack and unpack, and quarantine services. I achieved excellent results in expanding, diversifying and retaining the customer base, including more than tripling the size of the customer base, whilst retaining over 80% of customers. Key Achievements:• Successfully developed and implemented client site specific SOP’s, covering delivery specific policies, OH&S, First Aid, walkways and prohibited areas, resulting in a huge reduction in safety issues and increased delivery speed• Project managed numerous relocations for customers including the movement of highly valuable computer devices for HP from the Botany wharf in NSW to a client site in Perth, WA• Computerised the organisation by implementing the Road Runner transport system, later upgrading it to Sapphire, thereby increasing business efficiency, as well as increasing client satisfaction and service levels through the implementation of client reporting systems• Reported to the key shareholders and efficiently managed 36 people across the business, including administration and customer service, transport and warehousing personnel• Managed a warehouse of 4000 pallets for 20 customers
