Also, “in season” analysis of sales trends at both product and store level, proactive management within vendor availability constraints, vendor and retail liaison, and statistical and written “post season” analysis to understand trends and contribute toward future buy decisions.During this role, I made extensive use of the operational SAP system as well as Business Management statistical analysis packages. I also gained experience of dealing with a fast-moving perishable product range and a stockless warehousing operation, within a dynamic and competitive retail environment.I left the company in June 2016 under redundancy terms.

I left BT under voluntary redundancy terms in September 2000.Co-ordinator, Procurement Year 2000 (Y2K) Project Team (1998 to 1999). My role was to co-ordinate and progress BT’s buying team activity, to ensure the Y2K compliance status of BT’s supply base and all sourced products and services. I represented Procurement at various BT Y2K forums. My key achievements were co-ordinating the full Y2K compliance of BT’s suppliers and products, and putting in place robust “Due Diligence” and Contingency plans which ensured a smooth transition into the Year 2000 across the business.Manager with Supply Management Business Development Unit (1994 to 1997) Various roles including the FiX Product Quality Improvement process, the BT Supplier Perception programme and Supply Chain Benchmarking. I was responsible for the stock of Internal Cable, managing a team of 3 people. Key achievements were reducing stocks by 40% and increasing service levels from 80% to an “all time high” of 96%, in the face of unforecasted demand variances. Prior to this, I also held an MP Manager post for Corporate Clothing (1991 to 1992), responsible for introducing a “New Image” Clothing range and closing the old range down, and a Temporary MP Manager post (1990 to 1991) for Underground Cable Optic Fibre (O/F) Equipment; also managing a team of 5 people.Clerical Officer (1984 to 1990) responsible for the full Procurement cycle (inc. Supplier liaison, tendering, adjudication and placing Supply contracts) for various ranges of Underground stores.
