Worked with the Greenergy Next Generation Renewables team on the development of a variety of energy transition projects. Scope included pre-feasibility assessment, project structuring, FEED development, planning submission, negotiating and development of various agreements including Licence Agreements, land lease Option Agreements, Owners Requirements, EPC HoT’s, and FEED Consultant appointment.Projects included: - pyrolysis of end-of-life tyres to the production of 'drop in' renewable fuels and rCB, - used cooking oil to production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel- hydrogen production and syngas- carbon capture and storage- pyrolysis Waste plastic to oilDuring 2022 I used my deep knowledge of highway projects to support a UK based investment fund in their due diligence and successful acquisition of a shareholding in a UK motorway toll project.

I am responsible for all the activities within the EME region - leading the team to secure a pipeline of investments, managing our assets through the delivery phase and optimising divestment.

I am currently responsible for a team off 11 whom I manage to deliver asset management activities on all assets following Financial Close on all our projects in North America. Additionally I have some specific projects in the UK for which I am responsible.Assets include healthcare, railroad, highways and toll roads.I am a member of the John Laing leadership team.

I relocated to Canada where I was appointed Head of North America with primary responsibility for business development activities across the US and Canada. I managed an origination team to build a pipeline of infrastructure and PPP opportunities, form consortia, manage the bid process, submit bids that complied with our Investment Committee requirements and achieve a successful Financial close.I managed a team of up to 18 across 2 offices, including line management responsibility for asset management staff.

Business Development of PPP / PFI / P3 investments in the UK and US.I was the sector head at John Laing Investments, responsible for Business Development of UK Civil Engineering Infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, tunnels, highways maintenance and streetlighting. Additionally I have supported overseas development opportunities in North America since 2006 (including the Missouri 800 bridges and the I-595 in Florida), I led our team and secured our investment at FC (12th August 2010) of the Eagle P3 rail project, Denver, Colorado. USA and undertook due diligence on a number of secondary acquisition opportunities.I led the close of the MOD Corsham Development Project in August 2008.Additionally, since 2000 I have gained significant hands on operational experience, including acting as General Manager on the A130, Commercial Manager on the A55 and M40.

I worked in Greenwich, London on the construction of the Millennium Dome (now the O2 arena) as a Commercial Manager. This CM project was undertaken in joint venture with Sir Robert McAlpine where we were located on site with the client and design team.

I worked in Egypt for JLI on high class residential apartments and villas overlooking the river Nile.

Joined John Laing as a Pupil QS and worked on a variety of commercial and public projects including office accommodation, supermarkets, airport, leisure complex, schools and hospitals.
