$50m, 300 Associate – Healthcare Software Start-up – Focus Payor and Care Management Software and SaaS OperationsProgram ManagementConverted from contractor to Healthedge employee to continue the IT Transformation initiatives, and provide continuity through 2014 major initiatives. Consolidated Data Center at Healthedge Headquarters to our NaviSite Tier 3 Data Center, Consolidated 5 racks (60 servers) of equipment down to 1, using VMware and virtualization to create a central engineering environment. Headquarters and Remote Office Move – Lead the coordination of establishing the new Healthedge Headquaters, and move 200 staff from 2 locations in to one new facility. This was done over a 2 day weekend, with no business impact. Security Awareness Training – Established a company-wide SAT program. HITRUST – Working with all departments of Healthedge to achieve HITRUST certification in 2014. Launched 12 new customers (Payor & CareManager) – As both SaaS and on-site installs.

Healthedge Software - Burlington, Ma

Contracted to evaluate the state of HealthEdge Information Systems Architecture and prepare the company for significant sales, expansion of ASP hosting in to a SaaS Operating model, institute HIPAA security programs, establish collaborative platforms that would facilitate employee growth in 2013. HealthEdge acquired Click4Care in December 2012, and scope changed to include acquisition integration. Negotiated contracts with key platform vendors: Oracle, MelissaData, Flux, Microsoft to ensure compliance and allow for an infrastructure architecture not hindered by inadequate license terms. Microsoft Office 365 Implementation – Cloud Solution – Eliminated the desperate Microsoft Exchange E-Mail and Office product to allow for seamless collaboration/e-mail/Video and document sharing by moving to Office 365, project was planned and 350 users updated in 5 weeks on budget and deadline. Complete Application Infrastructure Re-design - Common Production Platform (CPP) for SaaS Operations – Proposed January 2013, Funded March 2013. Delivered June 30th 2013. Based on standard reference architectures for availability/scalability and performance. Complete Network Re-design - Data Center Network Upgrade to Support CPP. Establish a fault tolerant network design for SaaS reliability and scalability. Sales Engineering Documentation – Created documentation to support product sales, and emphasize our SaaS offering(s). IT Department to SaaS Operations (IAAS,PAAS,SAAS) Reorganization – Re-organized and grew the IT function to line up with the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) ,ITIL and the business needs. (Solutions Engineering – Customer Facing, Platform Engineering - Application Support, and Infrastructure Engineering – Operation Systems/Network/Hardware. HealthEdge - Customer IT Program Management – Established the role of IT Customer Program Management. Brought in a key resource to manage customer facing program efforts to ensure IT/Engineering we aligned with customer deliverables.

Oversaw the establishment of the Internet infrastructure technology team, in support of web-based money management offerings. $7 million portfolio of enhancement and support technology development projects for the Interactive Financial Solutions division. Liaised with outside hosting vendors to build a strong working relationship in relation to IT infrastructure engineering and support. Coordinated with the internal departments to build necessary processes and controls. • Led the company Y2K Internet readiness program.• Delivered the ‘Gold Standard’ for a Secure Microsoft Internet Financial Service Network (Webby Award)• Created the Operation Support Model (OSM) for evaluating infrastructure operational reliability, availability and scalability in conjunction with delivering business value.

Launched the local area network team and the infrastructure growing up to 900 workstations in 3 years. Designed a leading-edge Novell and Windows Client Server Infrastructure sited as best in class by NetworkWorld. Led the first implementation of joining a Banyan Vines network with a Novell network using an X.400/500 messaging and management interface, including the integration of Xerox Docutec On-damand printing system. Instrumental over a 5 year program from 1991 to 1996, to innovate the Registry’s customer service offerings. Leveraging technology to reduce the customers need to travel to a branch office, by providing telephony and Internet alternatives, saving $9 million in annual costs and reducing staff by over 500 associates while improving service. (Case Study – License to Innovate, Babson College). Built consensus among senior executives on new technology initiatives and adoption..
