Thread is an online apparel marketplace that uses AI to personalise the shopping experience for each individual user. As the COO, I was responsible for the UK and International business performance, with full P&L ownership. My job was all about leveraging people, process and technology to scale up the business, improve the economics and make sure our customers get the best possible experience when they place an order. We exited the business in 2023 to Marks and Spencer.

Deliveroo is on a mission to transform the way the world thinks about food. From 2015 onwards we scaled the operation to 150 cities in 11 countries, grew 15x in a couple of years and made Deliveroo a household name. As Operations Director and a member of the management team, my job was to make sure we delivered great food to customers fast, across all of the UK & Ireland as we grew. I helped do this by scaling up our rider fleet, customer service operation and support functions. Deliveroo IPO'd in 2021.

I had a range of roles at Tesco, starting out as a Programme Manager in the operations development team. After 1.5 years at Tesco Bank running the change programme, I rejoined the main retail business as Transformation Director. In this role, I worked alongside the UK and Global CEOs and management teams to develop and deliver the plan to re-set the trajectory of the UK business.

Co-founded a lighting consulting and supply business. Scaled up to €2m+ revenues across three European offices.
