Working in the Safety and Health Management field within the IBEW, I apply my skills and knowledge in very diverse work settings including data centers, battery plants, manufacturing setting and refineries to ensure the safety of people and equipment. I have been working within safety for over 30 years, and I have valuable experience overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems from 120 , 240, 480 as well as high voltage systems. I have also worked on several projects involving automotive robotic cell installation, battery plant construction and paper mill work as an industrial electrician performing electrical and instrumentation repair and installation. I am passionate about providing high-quality safety services that meet the needs and expectations of my clients and employers. I am always eager to learn new skills and techniques, and to collaborate with other safety professionals. I strive to teach, encourage and train those within my organization in an effort to eliminate unsafe environments, incidents and accidents. I am currently working to achieve my Safety and Health Professional certification through Eastern Michigan University. I will take the OSHA 500 in August and the OSHA 501 soon after.
