As the technical co-founder, project leader, and chief programmer, I built and led a team of programmers, technologists, QA specialists, integration specialists, and infrastructure engineers to build a scalable, cloud-based enterprise curriculum management system built on a foundation of open source tools and technologies. I also oversaw the close integration of the technology side of the company with service & support and sales.The product, LEO, is a curriculum management systems for medical education that provides data-driven results and analytics for accreditation, administration and general curriculum management. In-depth tracking of learning objectives is a cornerstone of LEO. I was the lead programmer or project leader for implementing features such as multifaceted curricular mapping, exams, evaluations, room scheduling, content management, calendaring, integration with external systems via LTI, SCORM, APIs, and custom interfaces, as well integrations with various enterprise authentication systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, and Shibboleth.I was also responsible for working with senior management and technical staff at medical schools to determine needs, define and documents solutions, and deliver these custom solutions in a timely manner.
